The 10,000-unit housing Project in Iraq is one of the biggest exports of technical and engineering services in Kuwait’s history. The project unit is built in one and half story blocks with an attractive and large Terrace, via different industrialized mass-housing construction technologies, and traditional as well. The total land area of this project’s site is around 340 hectares of which, 150 hectares is allocated for housing.

Rosewood’s efforts to assimilate, adapt and apply various residential construction technologies has resulted in the development of a unique method for building large-scale housing faster, better, and at a lower cost in virtually every corner of the globe. Also as an international construction company has alliances from China, Azerbaijan, Turkey and etc.

All public building such as auxiliary, landscaping, roads and infrastructure will be engineer, procurement and construct by Rosewood Company as General Contractor of the Project.


The project’s scope of work involves design, procurement and construction of the followings

  • Residential Buildings
    There are 10,000 units, each consisting one story blocks, 105 square meters and two bedrooms. The design is done according to Iraq’s climatic conditions and the buildings are constructed using different industrialized mass-housing construction technologies.
  • Auxiliary Buildings
    Welfare is crucial in every project and to improve the public welfare of township residents, all the auxiliary buildings needed for a township, such as schools with different grade configurations, kindergartens and nursery school, library, outdoor sport lands, health & medical clinics etc are built beside each township.
  • Facilities and landscaping
    The entire networks of water, sewerage collection, the network for collecting surface water from the surroundings of townships, electrical cabling, lighting of surroundings, as well as landscaping, streets, parking lots and green spaces are the facilities constructed for this project.
